    We are currently recruiting for one of our top clients who are succeeding and growing larger each year as a company. The role is a Accounts Payable Assistant working in the Plymouth area.

    The hours will be full time Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours per week with one hour’s lunch. The position is a temporary role with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff with our client after a number of weeks.

     

    Your Responsibilities will include:

    • Be required to work as a team and on your own initiative.
    • Complete ad-hoc admin tasks as designated by your line manager.
    • Be archiving and recording of invoices and other Accounts Payable paperwork
    • Deal with internal and external suppliers’ queries
    • Reconcile supplier statements, across a ledger of several suppliers.
    • Take control of the aged creditors, clearing queries and any aged items.
    • Process supplier credit notes

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Proven experience of accounts payable
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • IT literate with intermediate / advanced Excel skills.
