Customer Care Assistant – Bristol Airport

Temporary to Permanent position.

Full Time Hours. Must be flexable to work shifts/ Nights and Weekends.

Mego employment Ltd is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Care Assistant at Bristol Airport.

As a Customer Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for travelers and visitors at the airport. Your excellent communication skills, friendly demeanor, and problem-solving abilities will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient environment for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome passengers, visitors, and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide information about airport facilities, services, flight details, and other relevant information to assist passengers.
  • Assist passengers with check-in processes, boarding procedures, and wayfinding within the airport.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
  • Collaborate with airport staff, security personnel, and airlines to manage customer needs and ensure a smooth travel experience.
  • Help passengers with special needs, including children, elderly individuals, and individuals with disabilities, by offering appropriate assistance and guidance.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of customer service areas, ensuring a pleasant environment for travellers.
  • Utilise technology and information systems to access flight information, provide updates to passengers, and handle administrative tasks.
  • Up sell and promote airport services such as lounges, retail outlets, and dining establishments to enhance customer experience.
  • Uphold security protocols and safety guidelines, reporting any suspicious activities or incidents to relevant authorities.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on customer service practices, airport procedures, and security protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in the aviation, hospitality, or retail sectors.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, and assisting customers for extended periods.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

For this position you must be available and ready to start trainging the first week of September.
