About the Role:
As an Airport Customer Service Agent, you will play a crucial role in creating positive and memorable experiences for all passengers and visitors at Bristol Airport. Your friendly and efficient service will be essential in addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving any concerns that may arise during their journey. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in ensuring outstanding service to all airport stakeholders.
Hourly Rate of £11.04.
Working shifts between the hours of 0300 to 2300 (8 or 12 hour shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet passengers and visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the airport.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, gate assignments, baggage handling, and airport facilities.
- Assist passengers with check-in procedures, boarding, and connecting flights to ensure a seamless journey.
- Efficiently handle lost or damaged luggage, coordinating with baggage services for swift resolutions.
- Conduct security and identification checks in adherence to airport regulations.
- Offer special assistance to passengers with disabilities, elderly individuals, and unaccompanied minors.
- Stay updated on airport policies, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure compliance.
- Participate in training programs to enhance industry knowledge, customer service techniques, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of customer interactions and feedback.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a calm and efficient approach to difficult situations.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues from different departments and work well in a team.
- Adherence to professional appearance and grooming standards as per airport guidelines.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and obtain necessary security clearances.
